One of the problems is that when the camera is in Live View, it is not recording video which is the main purpose of these cameras.

For the purpose that you are using the camera for, you would be better off using a video doorbell, such as Ring or Skybell.

Brian

Hi experts, I installed an Arlo VMS3330 at our entrance in order to check who rings the bell. But after somebody rings the bell, it takes too long to start the iPad App Live Video manually.
Is there a solution to automatically start the Live Video when the cam realizes movement? We could install a iPad with the App running all the time. I just do not have an idea how to set this up in the App Settings. I would appreciate any recommendations. Best regards Philipp
