    <description>&lt;P&gt;While it's possible that the software is giving an incorrect reading, it's also possible that the batteries aren't touching the contacts in the camera properly. When you insert the batteries, don't push them down. Let the battery door do the pushing. This is because the cameras use the batteries as two sets of two, front and rear, and switches between the sets. If one set isn't making connection, the other set gets used exclusively. Opening and closing the battery door may be allowing the second set to get connected, giving you that strange indication.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
