    <description>&lt;P&gt;The first step would be to factory reset the system. &amp;nbsp;Remove all devices from your account in Settings and then use the reset button on the base until the LEDs flash amber. &amp;nbsp;Open and close all camera battery doors. &amp;nbsp;Log into the app or web site and use the Add Device button to add the base and cameras. &amp;nbsp;If all goes right, you should be set.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;From Australia &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just bought my system with 2 cameras. &amp;nbsp;One camera is &amp;nbsp;working great. &amp;nbsp;The other camera is not connecting to&amp;nbsp;the base station.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;I have tried numerous times to connect the 2nd camera &amp;nbsp;but the amber light keeps coming on. &amp;nbsp;I have checked the batteries etc. &amp;nbsp;No&amp;nbsp;luck. &amp;nbsp;What have I done wrong??&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Dell in Oz&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Below is the sync method, but I'll add a few things.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; If the amber light is flashing, then the camera isn't sync'ing. So I'd first pull out the batteries for about 3 seconds and reinstall ( do not open battery door id any leds on front of cam are flashing )&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then I'd retry the method below, but remember to ONLY push the sync button not hold it (if you hold it the base goes into another mode ).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If above doesn't work, Try an reboot the base via the power button and then power back up and wait about 1-2 mins for the base to come back up ( all 3 leds green )... then try the sync method again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;good luck&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;the method to sync is here;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A target="_blank" href="https://community.netgear.com/t5/Arlo-Knowledge-Base/How-do-I-set-up-and-sync-my-Arlo-cameras/ta-p/987"&gt;https://community.netgear.com/t5/Arlo-Knowledge-Base/How-do-I-set-up-and-sync-my-Arlo-cameras/ta-p/987&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;This blinking amber light on camera&amp;nbsp;may have&amp;nbsp;something to do with the distance between the camera and the base station. You may need to relocate it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here's the meaning of each LED activity:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Blinking amber rapidly&lt;/STRONG&gt;. The camera was unable to sync with the base station. Try step 1 again.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;UL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Blinking amber slowly&lt;/STRONG&gt;. Batteries are low. Consider replacing the batteries. (See Step 3.)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Blinking amber and blue&lt;/STRONG&gt;. Firmware is updating. Wait until the update is complete.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;LED does not light&lt;/STRONG&gt;. Firmware is corrupt. Visit &lt;A href="https://support.arlo.com&amp;nbsp;and" target="_blank"&gt;https://support.arlo.com&amp;nbsp;and&lt;/A&gt; submit a support case.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Define "reset the base"? Using the power switch or the reset button? &amp;nbsp;If the latter, I'd open a trouble ticket for possible RMA. &amp;nbsp;In the meantime, what state are the front LEDs on the base?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>The reset button beside the power switch. I have logged a ticket n they have moved it up to the next level n should get a respose within 24hrs. Sounds like it will be replaced.</description>

      <description>I purchased the 4 camera set. 3 connected easily with no problem. The 4th is a no go. I have done everything troubleshooting and it still won't connect. How do i fix this one camera without returning the whole set to the store?</description>
