How to install the included Arlo wall mount??

So I bought the Arlo a few days ago and when I'm trying to install the included wall mount (the magnetic one), I'm not able to get it to stay firm on the wall. I have drilled and used the screw and plug, but the mount is still a bit loose so sometimes the camera is pushing down the placement due to its weight.

What am I doing wrong? Please note that this isn't the first time I'll add stuff / drill on the walls

Maybe the wall insert (plug) is enlarging the hole? The usual adjustment is to tighten the screw until you can't get the mount on and then back it out until it fits snuggly. Also, make sure the slot is aligned properly so you insert the screw head into the mount and pull down.

Edit: Just realized this is the Q section - are you trying to use the magnetic mount for that? I haven't used it but I didn't think there was a way to screw it on.

Hi,

The problem isnt the screw or the plug, the problem is that the magnetic mount isnt completly fixed to the wall, so when i add the weight if the Arla camera, it will turn 180degrees down. Only option here is basicall to use super glue to something else to get the damn mount to stick to the wall.

Obs my bad, added it to the wrong forum. Ill noptify the moderators. This is only about the Arlo and NOT the Q version

Alway thought there should have been an access hole to get at the screw... but never had a real problem getting it tight to wall installed as above.

If it's really a problem, just add a piece of double stick foam tape underneath.

Not sure what you're doing, but the wall mount can be mounted so that it is rock solid. You just have to screw the screw in a bit more until you can barely slide the wall mount on.
