Unable to upgrade an old wireless Netgear Arlo camera.

I just saw two firmware upgrade requests. I went ahead and upgraded them remotely, but one camera failed with its "Upgrade failed -- Camera rejected upgrade request." What's wrong?

I haven't heard of that message but try using fresh, known good batteries, perhaps from another camera. Low battery levels won't allow an update to occur.

A base power cycle fixed it, and its batteries were still high. However, a closer camera went offline. Argh. Why so many issues just to update its recent firmware for the cameras? So annoying!
