I have the same issue. I think the camera is bad. This isn’t a very good system

If you buy cheap crappy batteries, that's one explanation. If you use good batteries and insert 4 new batteries and the battery level is around the 50% mark, that's failure to make a good contact somewhere.

It’s best and much cheaper to use recharable batteries. Batteries Direct or any reputable business sells them reasonable. I’ve got 5 cameras and 6 sets of 4, it works great.

Also, the batteries that came with the cameras worked great for a few months.

IMHO, it’s cheap or fake labeled batteries.

so deleting the device and re-adding it fixed the problem.

I use cheap batteries and have used cheap batteries since purchasing over a year ago. The batteries are changed about every 6 weeks,
