I read that it could be because of the distance from the home base so I moved it at the same distance as the second camera and the first camera still dies within a week of battery. The second camera is on to record 24/7 whereas the first camera is only on to record from 12am-7am and it still dies within a week! Also sometimes when the motion is triggered, the recorded video is a bunch of flashing going from dark to infrared. maybe there is a problem with the light sensor which is screwing with the battery life?
