Screen goes black during live stream at night.... Records black videos as well....

Been experiencing a black screen at night, like the IR isn't working at all. Still detects motion. Will work fine in well lighted places, just a black screen when I place it in the nursery at night. Reset batteries, toggled the Night vision on/off, still seeing black when in a dark room. It will work later when I move it to an outside location at night, just doesn't wanna work inside.

Has been working flawlessly at night for a year without issue until two days ago.

Ideas?

Can't imagine it not working indoors but be ok outdoors. When not working indoors in a dark room, can you see the dull red glow from the IR illuminators on the camera face? If so, are you positioning the camera so that some surface nearby (likely the side) is reflecting so much light that the exposure is cranked down, leaving the surface well-lit but the rest of the scene dark?
