I got a Add-on Wire- Free camera for my birthday.. Supposively i also need the Base Station. Is the base station compatable with a hitron router?

No, you must use an Arlo base station.

RallyQ,

As mentioned, the Arlo Wire-free cameras require a base station to set up. The base station requires connection to an Internet router with an available Ethernet port.
