Camera did not sync and now will not turn on. I replaced batteries with new ones. Camera still does not turn on.

Be sure the batteries are good. Using a voltmeter, good batteries are ~3.2v, dead are ~2.75v. Make sure the batteries are installed with the proper polarity. Don't push the batteries down - let the door do the pushing. When the door closes, you should see the LED flash blue. Anyluck?

When I initially tried to sync the camera, it appeared to work properly but did not sync. I followed the instructions, turned the camera off, and attempted another sync but the camera never came back on. Changed batteries 3 times. No change.

This is my 3rd camera. Did not have any problems with the first 2.

Especially if you get no LED indications at all, opening a case with support or swapping at the store seems like your next move.

Ok, since this is a reconditioned camera, how do I open a case with support, I doubt the store will exchange it.
