i did the set up and got both cameras in sync but it keeps telling me to add device,how do i get past that?

App or browser? Have you tried both? Have you power cycled the base and logged out and back into the interface?

thanks i did figure it out. Now i have a problem with downloading the videos,all it says is its timed out. Its set at motion,i wish icould set it for all the time so i dont have so many videos

That sounds like 2 different issues. What exactly are you having problems with? What have you tried? What error messages are there? What do the base LEDs show> App or browser? Details.
