VMB3010 External Antenna?

Is there any way I can connect an external antenna to my VMB3010 to get a little more range? My reception is marginal now and it's not easy to relocate the unit. I notice there are two USB 2.0 ports on the unit.

No, There is no external antenna option for the base.

You look at using something like a power line adapter

to enable you to move the base closer to the cameras.

Unfortunately, no.

The USB ports on the VMB3010 are non-functional for users

Your options are to 1) relocate the unit to a more central location, perhaps using a wifi range extender with an ethernet port or 2) get a second base station (which may or may not require the wifi range extender if you don't have ethernet prewiring at your premises).

If you choose 2, definitely get an Arlo Pro base station, which will allow USB backup recording and also give you a siren
