Distance motion can be detected?

What is the furthest distance from the camera that motion can be detected? Can the distance be altered in settings & how is that done? Thanks.

For Arlo, the max is about 20 ft+ for people ( for the Pro model add another 5 ft )

Most of my cams are set up for about 15-18ft away from target.

The sense level can be adjusted , but more than likely only for less distance

My cameras pick up around 20 ft. The sensor setup sentive adjustments and camera angles do varry montion pickups.
