Thanks for replying. It was only when going into the mode tab.

Flash was up to date and viewing the mode failed on all three browsers on the computer and the phone. It worked alright yesterday morning. After posting this, when I tried to view the mode after a couple of hours it worked alright. I have no idea what caused this problem - or how to anticipate it in the future. I keep thinking, thank heavens I wasn't going on a vacation today.

Alerts are instantaneous.

Android app shows offline.

Tried logging in from Chorme/FF/IE all of them are stuck on a getting status message next to my base station.

Cleared cache and tried - now just the base station name displays without 'Getting status'

Power cycled all devices and yet same result. Internet connectivity - very fast

What can I do to change the base stations mode ?

Is this just logging in or when trying to live view? Recent browser updates have disabled Flash by default - you have to go into the browser menu and enable at least for arlo.netgear.com. Ensure Flash is up to date, too.
