Firmware 1.2.11810

Running the arlo at home and it is disarmed (not recording or sending motion detection message). I am only using it to see my dog when I'm not home so I sometimes go on the app. The battery life is shocking though, it's already on 3% and I changed the batteries last week and have set it to disarmed since I changed the batteries. Is this a faulty camera or what can I do? I can't keep changing the batteries every couple days and this also means I can't use the recording feature for fear of the battery life running out.

It's possible that it's a bad camera but it can also be the connection between the base and camera. Can you swap cameras around to see if the issue stays with the camera or position?
