Camera not detecting/recording motion

I just recently relocated a camera to a better location to cover my front porch area. I will attach a photo to show placement.

As you can see it is positioned "HIGH" and it is only 10 feet (Yes, I measured) away from the camera from the door mat pictured. There is also a harsh angle for someone to pass by on their way up to my front door. By the book, it should be a PERFECT location. YET...it will only record if i walk right up (within 5 feet) and wave at the camera. Sensitivity is set to 100%, and the record time is set to 20 sec. I have 2 other cameras and have NO ISSUES with them doing their job. I have reset camera, the entire system and even installed fresh batteries.

If you swap one of your other cameras to this position, does it work as you want?
