How long after firmware release should devices update?

Can you give an indication of when after a firmware release the devices should update? I see a release was made approx 8 days ago but all of my devices show the older version?

If you have an older version of SW.... try and reboot the base via the power button.

Updates usu come during the night following the release or reboot... ( make sure your batteries in the cameras are more than 50% )

And what would the latest firmware version be for the basestation and cameras? Seems to be very difficult to find the "current" version.

I set up a new system last night and got a "new firmware version is available" clicked "OK" and nothing seems to have happened, unless 1.7.3_5005 is the current version for the basestation and 1.2.4941 is for the cameras.
