you kind of have that capability now. You can make a rule that when Cam A detects motion, Cam A and Cam B starts recording.

you know having to catch folks at an angle since these, and others dont seem to work head-on, why cant someone create remote sensors? i'd pay for them. i could then set them at my brezeeway, triggering the camera to start recording while it is head-on and can actual catch their face...

also, i could set one to trip well before they reach my backyard gate by setting a trip on the side of the house as they approch the gate...

seems like an easy thing to do; you pair them to a camera, they are on the network and trigger them via the base unit.

if this existing, i would not be thinking of returning them. right now i am not happy with the whole "needs to cross in front" in order to trigger them.

for that matter, you could use any other type of triggering. magnet, light beam, etc.

just a thought

JJ

seems like an expensive trip wire to use another camara...

agree and an external sensor would be nice, but things being what they are.

In my case the tripwire cam also records the action early on, so to speak, so not just a tripwire.
