I would like to suggest that Arlo add another option to the camera recording options. We recently purchased the system and installed one of the cameras behind the kitchen window pointing out towards our front door. Unfortunately it appears that the glass from the window prevents the camera from recording when there is motion outside by the door. My recommendation would be to have a mode that you could select that will activate all cameras in that group to start recording when there is motion detected by any one of them. I have tried to contact Arlo with no response from them, any suggestions?

Thanks, Craig

SparkyC,

This can be done by creating additional rules for each camera within the active mode:

Rule 1 - Record on Cam A when motion is detected on Cam A

Rule 2 - Record on Cam B when motion is detected on Cam A

Rule 3 - Record on Cam C when motion is detected on Cam A

And so on and so forth with any/all of your cameras.

The following article contains some information on how Arlo motion detection works and why it isn't advise that it be used behind glass: How does Arlo’s motion detection sensitivity work?

I hope this helps!
