Arlo Camera Disconnects

My arlo camera is not staying connected after I place it where I want it. Any idea what I am doing wrong? It runs fine when it is close to the base.

could be where you want it, if not too far, something is interfering with the wifi signal between base station and cameras.

Some users have found getting a wifi extender with ethernet port, thus enabling them to place the base station closer to cams helps.

What is the signal level of the camera when you place it where wanted??

Sound like it is to far away for a good signal and dropping out..

If you need it where placed, you can more centrally locate the base either by ethernet cable or a wifi extender that has an ethernet port.

It is about 6 ft from the base. I have it outside up over a window and the base sits right at the window inside.

I have good connection for about 10 mins once I place it in that location. Then the camera drops connection.

I'm so disappointed in it.

does anything change if you bring the cam inside to same room as base station?

Other than something being wrong with the hardware, or you not having enough bandwidth, the only thing I can think of is something is interfering with your signal. Try turning off other devices to see if anything changes
