The distance isn't the only factor. WHat's between the camera and base is also an issue. Ductwork, wiring, mirrors, house construction, etc. all gets in there. Recently, some folks with stucco exteriors were surprised to find out that the wire mesh that holds the stucco in place was forming a weak Farraday cage, blocking the signal to the cameras.

Swap cameras around to see if the issue is in the location or camera.

I had to get a new router and I am using a range extender, do i have to reregister anything or will my base station automatically sinc? One of my cameras are only about 20' from my base and only have 2 bars for signal strength. I would think I would have a stronger signal than that. I did resinc my 2 cameras, any help would be appreciated thanks

The arlo bases should MOST of the time just be plug and play into a new router... ( as long as the required ports are open and they usu are )
