Thanks so much! That's the info I was looking for. Hopefully our State tech dept. will allow us to have those ports open. 🙂

I work for a public school district and our nutrition dept. wants to purchase a VMC3030. I know that these are designed for home use but our district's network is part of the State government network so our Internet access goes through the State network. We have access points throughout all of our schools with each school having a Cisco router (not a wireless router like all of us do at home), so I'd like to know if it's even possible to have a VMC3030 (or some other model) work in our network environment since our network is nothing like a home network.

The only requirement is for ports 80, 123 and 443 to arlo.netgear.com be open. You may need to work with IT to ensure this works.
