No idea what additional routers, if any, will support Arlo. At this point in time, only the R7000 has support. I'm not sure if this is only a firmware issue or if additional hardware is required in the router to support Arlo. It would sorta point to a hardware issue but I can't be sure.

Does anyone know if Netgear is working on a firmware update for the R8500 so Arlo cameras can directly connect? I am assuming this router has enough horsepower - the thing is a beast and practically brand new. I wrote to Netgear and they just wanted me to pay $50 for support.
