You can sync Arlo Wire-Free and Arlo Pro cameras to either the Arlo Wire-free or Arlo Pro base stations.

You might consider factory resetting your base station (log in to your account and navigate to Settings > My Devices > select base > Remove Device). After it has been reset, log in to your Arlo account and click "Add Device" select base station and follow the on screen instructions. Are you still seeing the same behavior?

My base station is fried, I think. It doesn't sync, and will not reset. I bought it under a year ago - is this a warranty issue? If not, where can I purchase a replacement? No luck on Amazon.

My VMB3000 was also fried (along with everything else connected by wire to my cable modem). It powers up now but it can't seem to read the cameras and keeps saying they need a firmware upgrade.

Can I replace this old base station with a VMB4000 and have the previous cameras still work? Is that the recommended replacement?
