one of my ARLO die after firmware upgrade today.

it is very diffcult to find support from netgear.

I will avoid any netgear product in future.

When you say it died, do you mean the batteries were depleted? The most recent firmware update for the Arlo cameras addressed an issue involving inaccurate battery readings displaying on the camera. It could be, that the batteries were depleted in the camera but your battery indicator was not showing the correct level. Consider installing a fresh set of batteries in the camera and see if you get the same behavior.
