I bought an Arlo on July 1st 2017 , installed it with the 4 Duracel batteries that came with the unit. Yesterday (7/27) I checked and it showed my batteries are 60% , this morning (7/28) I got an alert to replace the batteries which dropped to 5% left. I replaced with 4 new Trustfire 3V Lithium batteries but the battery icon shows 0% , swapped another 4 new Trustfire batteries still showing red battery icon. What am I doing wrong , please advise. Also they said the batteries should last 3-4 months , my case it's only 28 days

Well you may see a diff in the battery readings as that was part of the latest SW update correction.... could account for the fast drop, not sure.

Install the new batteries and then power button reboot the base to see if the battery level corrects itself.

If not, open the battery door then close , go to settings and use Remove Device for the camera... bring back as if new with a resync

As to the time for battery life...much depends on usage, spec use is viewing/recording 5 min or less per day to achieve listed life. Most of mine go almost 4 months
