Sensitivity Motion Trigger (ARLO) H7 Firmware 1.2.10342

So I have set the sensitivity to 100% for a camera mounted in my living room. When walking directly at the camera, it does not trigger the recording until I am at about 2 meters from the unit.

I have reset the sensitivity several times lower and then back to 100% with no discernable effect.

Any ideas?

The movement sensors in these cameras trigger best when the movement is across the lens rather than directly towards it.

To make sure that there is nothing else wrong, try and reposition the camera such that the movement you want to record is across rather than directly at the camera.
