Metadata: You are correct. The metadata resides inside the file. (It would be nice to add date/time to the filename during download.)

Multiple Downloads: Just tried again now. In Safari, Chrome and Firefox in macOS, multiple selections do not download; only the first selection clicked will be downloaded.

Arlo cannot download more than one video clip at a time. Even though you can select multiple clips and click the Download button, it downloads only the first clip.

Arlo doesn’t include metadata with the downloaded clip — not the time, date or camera name!

Motion detection takes too long. It kicks in after 3 seconds of motion.

- Need ability to arm/disarm cameras indecently. I have 3 cameras and want two armed and one not. No mode setting available to do that unless I just turn off a camera I don't want alerts from.

Just tried downloading multiple videos again with no problem. What device and OS? App or web? Have you tried both?

I use MediaInfo to read metadata with no problem. No doubt other software would work, too.

The best motion detection for the wire cameras is 2-3 seconds. That's the nature of PIR detectors along with the battery operated cameras that have to wake up and connect to the servers.

To record with only some cameras you need to create a custom mode. Lots of threads on this as well as FAQs with explicit directions.
