      <description>&lt;P&gt;The problem with sending an alert if the cam goes offline is you would be using battery power with the constant handshaking necessary between the cam and base station to determine if it has lost contact.&amp;nbsp; Since this would go on 24/7 over time that battery power used wouls add up&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, the base station always knows if the camera is connected or not. Why not add alerting capability to base station as well?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
