Arlo Cameras using a different router, and different interface unit.

I am curious on buying a couple of your wireless cameras. I have a different system, but would like to add a couple of arlo cams to it. Can your products be configured to accommodate my current CCTV setup?

Probably not....that sounds like no one has tried. If i can get a sample unit to test from you guys, can i do some testing?

Prob not, means the time and cost to do it, IF even possible is not worth it.

If you throw enough money at anthing, it is possible.

The Arlo systems are cloud based to Netgear servers, are not web cams, and the video stream is not available to access for security.

There in no access into the base units and the Q cameras hook directly thru you home wifi to netegear servers only.

As to samples , you'd have to contact Netgear directly, not here on the forum

Understood.
As to the base, i want to bypass the base all together, and just work directly with the camera. If the camera can be accessed through a base, that means there is an ip address associated with that cam, hence it can be reconfigured.

And, yes the cams have a Mac so the Base is using that with it's internal system ( unknown ) and prob some form of IP... but also key encrpted data out and there are no passwords into the base unit ( not a real router btw.)
