    <description>&lt;P&gt;All five of my cams had the little bulging dome low center front shredded, probably by woodpeckers. They still work but I doubt they will stand up to rain now &lt;img id="smileysad" class="emoticon emoticon-smileysad" src="https://community.arlo.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.png" alt="Smiley Sad" title="Smiley Sad" /&gt;&amp;nbsp;Obviously this isn't&amp;nbsp;a warranty issue (acts of pecker...). Its the motion detector, right? I can live without that so a dab of epoxy&amp;nbsp;would be ok. Any brighter ideas than mine around?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thx in advance,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;/RS&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, it's the cover for the PIR sensor. &amp;nbsp;Wow! &amp;nbsp;Too late now but maybe a cage around them could be useful. &amp;nbsp;Or bird shot.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I don't know how epoxy would affect motion detection but to seal the camera I'd think that would be fine. &amp;nbsp;You say you're ok without detection so go for it. &amp;nbsp;A dab of silicone sealant should also work. &amp;nbsp;If it's thin and smooth enough, who knows? &amp;nbsp;Maybe detection would still be possible unless they got the sensor itself.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
