Battery consumption

I have a 5 camera system which works fine. One camera rapidly consumes battery power. It is set at optimize, 30 seconds, and is not often activated.

The other cameras do not consume batteries like this one, wihtt the same level of activity. Ideas? Thanks.

Could it be placed at close to extreme range of your wifi ( or have more walls between the base station than the others) so that it is using lots of juice staying connected to base station.

Try swapping locations with one cam using less juice and see if the problem transfers.

Thanks. I was going to do that this weekend. The camera in question is lterally 25 feet from the basestation with a window. Cameras much further away are OK and just as active. We shall see.
