question just to be clear.... are you using rechargeable batteries or non rechargeables?

If rechargeables, who told you not to recharge them.

One way to tell (but its not foolproof) is if they are CR123A thats the normal designator for non rechargeable; if RCR123A they're rechargeable.

I recently purchased the recommened rechargeable batteries and charging station for my Arlo. I charged the batteries 3 days and when putting them in my Camera it still reads 8%. What could be that issue. I purchased the 12 pcs Tenergy Propel CR123A Lithium Battery with PTC Protection.

A little peeved that the cost of these batteries will end up costing more than a new system.

I notice you mentioned charging thm for 3 days. My Tenergys take 2-4 hours to fully charge.

Do they show 11% as soon as you put them in or do the start at around 100% and rapidly drop.

Do you just lightly put them in the battery case and let closing the battery door seat them?

Sometimes it may take a min or two for the battery indicator to show the proper level.

Does your charger show a digital readout of voltage? Or do you have a multimeter to read the voltage of each charged battery? Are you sure all 4 batteries are inserted with the correct polarity and there's nothing preventing them from making a good contact with their battery terminals? Have you tried the batteries out of another camera?

also, just to be clear. Netgear has certified the gold coloured 3.7 V Tenergy rechargeable batteries with or without charger on the accessories page pointing to Amazon.

Outside of Canada and the USA these may be difficult or impossible to order in many countries.

Several users have found several other brands to work well.

Avoided should be brandless ones, especially if the promise over 800mAh capacity

The correct solution will be a result of correctly identifying what the problem is. Guess how we figure out what the problem is...

Do you have a multimeter or have access to one?
