I cant get the cameras at my vacation home to provide live shot. I do get notified when there is motion detected and I can go to library and view but to view live is not happening

The easist thing to try is another browser... most live view issues seem to be flash...

Try Fire Fox or Chrome

Do you get any error messages? As suggested above, a different browser may help isolate the issue.
