I have an Arlo system which is marked VMB3010 on the base, and it VMB3010r2 when it gets new firmware.

I can't see any source for it on the Netgear site:

http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/2649/~/netgear---open-source-code-for-programmers-%28gpl%29

Where is it available?

It may simply be that it's not Linux/open-source-based. The lack of listing may be an oversight or a clue.

Which one though?

This is the VMB3000 1.4.2695 label, but the filename suggests something else:

http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GPL/VZC3000-V1.0.2.34_1.0.49_IPCam_src.tar.gz

This one is labelled right, but is it the right board:

http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GPL/VMB3000_V1.2.1728.tar.gz

And the version I have on my board is 1.4.2695, so it's not available...

Also, looking at the firmware running on the board itself, there is a binary called vzdaemon which appears to use libmicrohttpd statically, and that's GPL licensed. The source of that should also be available, and isn't.
