Arlo vmb 3000 cannot find my device

The base station cannot find my computer or my phone. Tried everything, but cannot seem to find the answer in theses forums. what am I doing wrong?

Try resetting the base using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber and try again.

I tried the factory reset already, but the lights would never change to amber. So no luck there.

You probably used the old procedure. Use only the reset button until the LEDs flash amber.
