if you have another cam, try swapping them out to rule out problem with the battery.

Another common cause is the batteries are in wrong or not properly making contact. Don't push them down but just drop them in, letting closing the battery door properly seat them.

Just installed fresh batteries but still showing they are almost completely discharged, tried disconnecting and reconnection with no success. Also restarting the base station which did not work. Any ideas please?

Even more odd one of my camera batteries has gone from full charge (which they are) to totally discharged in the blink of an eye. Still having great fun (not) swapping batteries around (which are all fully charged) to try to get the correct reading on the app. Succeded with three cameras except the one which discharged just now

Bernascone,

If the app is indicating that the batteries are depleted (and you are sure they are all inserted correctly and making proper connection), what is indicating that the batteries are fully charged? What kind of batteries are you using (brand/type)?
