    <description>&lt;P&gt;If you want to locate your base station somewhere away from your router, you could buy a range extender that has an ethernet port. You could then plug the base station into that and the range extender connects to the router via wifi. Make sure you get a decent one as you don't want major speed drops or lag&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;NO, ...the Arlo and Arlo Pro cameras must connect to the base re wifi and the base must connect to your router via Ethernet cable&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;( base creates its own wifi network for cameras )&lt;/P&gt;</description>
