Hoping someone can help with connecting our base station to the internet. I've connecting it via ethernet to our router (Telstra TG797N0) after powering on the internet led displays a solid amber light for approxamately 4 seconds and then starts blinking. On checking the router the base station shows up but there is no IP address assigned. Is there something I'm missing??

It's possible the router is blocking the required ports. Commonly blocked is 123. The base also needs 443 and 80

I've never heard of a blinking Internet LED. Try resetting the base using the reset button until the LEDs flash amber. Remove all devices in Settings, My Devices and use the Add Device button on the Devices tab to add the base. If it's still having the same issue, use a different cable and router port. It may be a hardware fault that needs you to open a case with support.
