the new can is the Arlo Pro, and as mentioned, it uses a propriety battery which will not fit nor work with the original Arlo.

The original Arlo uses RCR123A batteries but be careful, they come in 2 flavours - 3.0 and 3.7 V. The Arlo needs the 3.7 V

Here's the link for the Netgear certified Tenergy https://www.arlo.com/en-us/products/arlo/tenergy_rechargeable_battery_charger.aspx#Tenergy%20Battery%20Charger%20Combo?cid=amb

Canadian customers can also find them on Amazon.ca

For many other countries these are not available (yet?( but in the forum there are various posts about which others work and which won't. Make sure they're 3.7 V and "real" ones won;t claim to more than 700Mah. Oes claiming 1600 or even 2000Mah are bogus claims and should serve as red flags.

if you mean the rechargeable batteries for the Arlo Pro, no the won't

if you mean the Tenergy RCR123A 3,7V gold colored rechargeables that Netgear has certifies and where there is a link to on the accessories page, yes they will but are not available in many countries outside of Canada and the USA
