While the web page does time out for inactivity, you shouldn't see this after 30 seconds. There is no setting to change this. What error message are you seeing? What are you attempting to do when you notice this (navigate to library, live stream, play recorded content)?

I remain on same page and session-timeout occurs.I can keep skype, google-hangouts, hotmail and gmail open all day with n problem but arlo always times out....is there any way to disable timeout in arlo website?..Thanks..Martin

No, there's a normal timeout after 10 minutes of inactivity. It's by design.
