Detecting motion

Hello.

I recently purchased an Arlo security camera. Since then, I've had maintenance workers come into my apartment on two different occasions and both times I would get a motion alert when they entered my apartment but never when they left. Any idea why this might be? My recording is set for approx. 28-30 seconds.

The trigger event to record is set off... the recording starts and continues for the 30 secs you set it for... recording stops and the camera goes thru a reset cycle of 10 + secs... If MOTION is still active in front of camera, the record cycle starts again...etc

You can increase the record time but not much can be done about the reset time for the trigger
