Sorry to hear you have/had bad results...

Will say that in order to work well, it does have it trial and error process in both location and sense levels.

I know it took over 5x to get one camera working like it should due to location. Others really easy.

I have 5 Arlo cams around my home. i always thought it was working well until i realized i miss majority of activity going on at my home. I also have Ring door bell which picks up everything. I have invested over $1000 in these arlo cameras and about to replace entire system cause i constantly miss activity. actually had someone steal from my home but missed it due to this camera not being sensitive enough. i have 5 cams, they all miss stuff constantly, so its not one malfunctioning cam, is anyone else experiencing this. very dissapointed in this product. My Ring door bell picks up everything, distance for both is same. yes batteries are good and weather is dry and in 50's F.
