Arlo will motion detect but will not save recording

As title says, will pick up motion but will not save the recording. However, it will save the recording when i go into live mode and manually record.

Model is VMS3430

Firstly, what firmware versions are your base station and cameras on?
Secondly, are you using ARMED mode or a custom made mode and are the rules in that mode to record on motion detection?

Try resetting ( power button ) your base first...the SW versions you have are older version and prob causing the issue

Check under SETTING > DEVICE re update sw

should be

cam = 1.2.10342

base= 1.8.8.0.11528

It is somehow working this morning, it must have updated itself last night

You might notice the "All Motion On" mode is now "Armed" with the newest updates
