Battery levels can drop due to a number of factors eg. cold temperature, recording regularly, loss of comms with the base station, faulty camera, loss of good battery contact inside the camera

Probably best to try another set of batteries and failing that, to open a ticket with support.

My recommendation is to look at the Tenergy rechargeables for a better long term solution that does cost $$$$$$$$

Hi there,

Can anyone explain why one of my two Arlo camera's would have gone from 96% to zero in 24 hours? I have checked the library, and it wasn't recording for the whole time, in fact it wasn;t recording at all. I have two camera's, the one that does most of the recording after hours is still at 93%, which is what it was at when the flat one was at 96%.

Any advice or tips, or were the batteries I received with the camera's from Netgear duds?

Thanks,

Dan.

Yes,... as metioned there can be a few reasons.

But mostly I would say 1) bad cells or not properly placed in ( one set backwards will still operated but only have 1/2 power ) 2) interference that knocks the camera off line , battery drains faster in this case, 3) some sort of glitch , maybe the IR lights stayed on, etc.

Reset the camera ( when cells are pulled ) and reinstall new allowing the battery door to push the cells in when closing.

( if possible chk cells , new OEM cells should read 3,2v )

Keep an eye on the cameras for a repeat problem which could indicate a hardware issue
