I have connected the ethernet cable to my router and the light on the router is amber but the lights on my netgear arlo are all green. I believe this is why I can't connect the devices through the app or website, suggestions?

Don't forget that there are different speed Ethernet connections. These days gigabit connections are typically green while 100Mbs connections result in the amber port light. Arlo uses 100Mbs since there's no need for a faster connection, just as the Pro base uses USB 2.0 for local storage - there's no need for faster connections (prolly saves $.05 per device).

So, the key is the green Internet LED on the base, meaning it's not only connected to the router but also to the servers. Why you can't see the system in your devices is a different issue. What have you tried to resolve this?
