You need an Arlo Base Station

As mentioned above, Arlo Wire-free and Arlo Pro cameras sync to an Arlo Base Station (not your router).

Arlo Q and Arlo Q Plus cameras do not require an Aro base station and connect directly to your Wi-Fi router.
