I guess I may have no had my Arlo as long as you as I've never seen the facility to copy and paste rules between modes. I'd love it if we could though!

Hello:

I have 11 cameras and TONS of rules already within my dozen or so defined modes. With an older version of the Arlo application, I had set up these rules and then defined a whole bunch of modes to either use those rules or not. (example: a mode only for the backyard, and another mode only for the front door, and a third one with ALL of those rules).

I have created a new mode and would like to use rules that I set up a couple years ago, just like I've done before. The current version of the application (both mobile and desktop) however, doesn't seem to let me use rules that have been set up a long time ago.

If rules now exist only within modes, then that would be a disappointment, but an acceptable alternative would be to allow the user to copy an existing mode (rules and all) and then edit the rules in the copy.

Suggestions needed!

You're both right - you can not copy rules between modes. All you can do is to make notes of your rules and manually enter then into each mode.
