Arlo not recording

I read a post where someone mentioned "record until movement stops", but I can't find that parameter. Could that be why my Arlo is not recording?
Can anyone point me to that parameter?

Won't get into why your Arloisnotrecord (could be many reasons) but your understanding that the Arlo records til movement stops is wrong.

Arlo records in two ways:

1. When the cam detects motion it records from 10 to 120 sec depending on for how long you have set it in modes

2. You manually start recording. It will record til you stop recording but to a 30 min max (to preserve battery life)

The camera IS detecting motion. (I get alerts on my phone).
When I look in the Library tab, there are no recordings.

What I'm actually looking for is a place where I can turn ON recordings when movement is detected.

Since this is in the original Arlo section, the issue is that these don't support recording until motion stops. Only the Pro and Q cameras do.

I wasn't really asking about record till motion stops. I was simply asking about recording at all. They seem to sense motion because I get texts saying so but nothing is being recorded at all.

under modes selecting ARMED (or a custom mode). Is this what you mean?

It shows as "Armed" but only send a text, no recording.

Try power cycling your base. Check the firmware versions of your devices under Settings, My Devices, your devices, Device Info against the Release Notes section here.
