The IR on an Arlo can reach out to a max of about 30 ft but really is good to 15 or so

picture; small stump at 30 ft, camera 6ft high ( and angled down camera will illuminate less )

If you find one camera having less IR than another by swapping the two AND you have changed battereies to make sure they are good, you should maybe contact Netgear Support

So I bought this system and added a couple cameras to it. This one camera the IR light for night vision doesn't seem to illuminate enough. There are good batteries in it. And the feature is enabled. I saw a thread in the support forums mention to open and close the battery door. To no avail. Any thoughts from anyone here? Thanks!

Thanks for the reply TomMac. Yeah, I took it down today and put it in a closet to test after resetting everything. Even something inches away didn't light up properly. Opened a support case, they had me upload a sample video. Said they will work to replace the unit.
